You need to do 2 things:

1) install rootsh (you can use the application manager to do so)

2) open xterm and type root then run the script described earlier in this thread which starts with the echo command.

Greetings and hello to everyone!
I need some assistance from our experts here. I swapped my iphone 3gs for N900 but my problem now is the lock code. Although the phone doesn't require me to input the lock codes when i want to use the phone, i wish to enable it and input my own codes.

I followed some tut and got

root:H2R5Qs/ 6y4lf6

Note: the fourth figure "l" in the 6y4lf6 stands for small letter L.

Appreciate if someone can decode this for me.
