The tax was included in the original charge, so I'm not sure where the additional charges are coming from.
Essentially, it looks like I was originally charged $659+estimated tax. That charge was removed from my account and a new charge appeared with the higher amount.

The same thing happened to me. Nokia explained that it's not a charge but a pre-authorization hold, reserving enough of my credit to pay for the phone. Those holds expire in 10 days. Nokia's software doesn't know that the amount already includes sales tax, so it adds that to the new pre-authorization hold. I cancelled my order because of that, so I get the full use of my available credit. Amazon has it for much less, too.
