There are three ways, white (not so cool), black (but we would need a white border all around) and Yellow (if a similar maemo yellow exist) this solution will help to save money for the print as we have only the black and the gray.

What about a shirt in the inverted colour from that orange? Should be some blue.

If we take the 2nd image and we cut the orange inside the frame we will have the blue of the shirt instead - Columbus and the blue sky of Barcelona in a background!

Also, isn't the grey of the maemo.org logo too dark in such context? What about something lighter, even some white?

It's a nice idea, but I would choose a light blue otherwise we won't be able to see anything. i assume that we will cut out the yellow also in the "e" of maemo...anyway both yellow and blue could be fine yellow is the sun, blue is the sky.

About the problem that might seems like a church, I have seen lots of buildings (not churches) with those windows, and maybe an open windows could link the concept of open source, but of course if this shape is a problem for lots of people...we can go for he first one with a blue background

A light gray would be nice, if you are able to have a code for the shirt's color (or the name of the color) we can try to see if gray match well or if he white is better, as that depends a lot on which kind of blue the tshirt is

Is good to have this things noticed, we are so many, from lots of different coltures that things that might seems obvious to me (spanish flag for instance) are not obvious to others...

That window looks "Barcelona-friendly" to me also in secular architecture Actually the churches in Barcelona are more Gothic / Modernist / Contemporary than Romanic (which are quite frequent in the countryside).

I like it too.

Light blue for the shirt? works for me. You define the colour and then we will find the best match with the shirt.
