I use my N900 with builtin car kit in a new Renault Megane. Before PR1.2 upgrade it worked perfectly, both for handsfree calls and A2DP streaming.

Now, with PR1.2 A2DP still works fine, and all handsfree works ok EXCEPT no audio comes from phone to car kit (voice out works clear apparently).

This obviously means its useless for car, which is a real pain for me...

I updated using OTA method, I'm going to try and re-flash clean to see if that helps...

I've heard going back to PR1.1.1 is not possible, is this true, does anyone know?

Since PR1.2 I have the same problem with my N900 and my car - I can be heard, but no audio comes through the car speakers so I can't hear the other party on the call.

Needless to remark, this was not an issue up to PR1.2.

And, also needless to remark, this makes the handsfree use of my phone in the car impossible.

Not such a happy camper right now.

I am having the same issue.
My N900 does not transmit voice over bluetooth, (I'm not sure if it trasmits my voice, but I cannot hear anything.) THis happens in my car and with my headset.

I noticed however that this did not happen right after I upgraded to PR1.2 I've had 1.2 for a while. It just happened the other day after I tried streaming music over bluetooth for the first time since installing PR1.2.

I had started a separate thread here, I don't know if there is any other useful information in there: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...167#post723167

I've initiated a bug for this issue, couldn't find a previous one for it.

It is right here:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10744

please follow the link if you have the issue, vote for it, add comments, so at least it gets confirmed, and hopefully resolved soon.

The problem is now resolved. Somehow (PR1.2?) the volume for incoming voice got set to zero (only applied to bluetooth headset/car kit). Raising the volume while in a call fixed the problem.

Seems bluetooth incoming voice volume is tracked differently to normal phone usage incoming voice volume as I could hear the other party when not using bluetooth.

I think it comes out of standby mode everytime I otherwise just use my phone and counts as if I would be speaking. I tried disabling all system sounds so it wouldn't need to play those, but it didn't help. And I can't call by just sayng recipient's name. But I'm happy that the hf mainly works, I just have to charge my hf every night just like I do with the N900...
i was wondering about the same thing. i don't think my bh-803 is entering standby at all, the blue light is always blinking like the sound channel is constantly open. that can't be good for either device's battery life. is this normal?

I'm not able to use the Track change buttons of my bluetooth Headset (Samsung SBH-650). Nothing is happening when i press these buttons. Also the pause button will only mute the sound, the track keeps playing on the phone.
Please help.

Please help.

Do you have headset-control, headset-button-enabler and headphoned daemon installed?
