I have tried to find if the problem exist in navit.xml but have not found nothing

actually i mighy know were the problem is. Finnish map sucks.

Could it be that, mapset is missin some roads, so navit cannot calculate route

For all self-compileros I attach a small helper program that is able to convert (most) svg/svgz to png in scratchbox.
The zipped project dir contains an ARM binary qsvg2png that belongs into PATH, needs libqt4 installed (of course only in scratchbox)
and a hardcoded replacement for navit/navit/xpm/navit_svg2png.

bank.svg, country_AD.svgz, country_AU.svgz, country_GS.svgz, country.svgz, country_SV.svgz and country_TR.svgz do still segfault :-/

The map that i upload isnt latest one. I take it from planet extractor and it is correct, but when i upload it to n900 it is missing some info, like some of the street names and paths that are in the openstreet maps.

AAAARRRRGGHHH!!! are there some kind of caches at the Navit???

I have deleted old maps, take new ones from internet. i deleted navit.xml and maps.xml and imported them again to n900 and still there are old maps at the Navit.

@mele

Hi,

I am currently using the OSM from this site:
http://downloads.cloudmade.com/
Teorically they should be the same from Planet site, but who knows. Maybe you have a better luck with them.

@ Trek1701

I tried it yesterday. Some of the changes did update but not all, my home and i bet others too are still missing from navit and they are in OSM.

no route_pos blocked error comes still

maybe i should start from beginning

Is the gui-gtk better in some sense than internal? Or what is the difference when using this GUI?
