i mean those horizontal lines...
#2 (stylus button bug) is now fixed and version 1.0.0.8 uploaded to extras-testing.
#1 is still a mystery to me since I don't know what you mean. Font size is default all the way the theme, I haven't changed that.

But isn't Nokia's own (terribly messy) BlkWhite theme, despite some lack of contrast, an example that this can work? I for one would welcome a well-thought black on white theme which works better in bright light than black.

Otherwise, thanks for the themes - they are simply the most elegant ones that I've seen for N900 anywhere.

sorry for late reply

here is the screenshot:

i don't know, why the text is so big...
(maybe because it is so short and gets zoomed to the available area? just an idea...)

EDIT: noticed the same behaviour at another point - the yellow notifications; just to compare:

Well if you install that you can see the same things that are impossible to get over:
- calendar event view has white text that cannot be changed into a different color => white background won't work since you cannot read the dates and times (white on white)
- top bar has white icons (wlan, battery, network indicator) that are hardly readable on white background

So what if we change just the background to dark? Let's do that, then we need to have the basic font being white so that you can read stuff from all other programs. Cool, let's do that and keep white top bar and white buttons.
But wait a minute, we need to have a dark top bar because it's good to be able to see the network strenght etc. So let's make the top bar also dark and change the font over there to white but let's keep the buttons still white. Wrong! Some button texts uses the same color that top bar font has so we cannot have even the buttons being white since the top bar has white font :-D

Case closed :-P

Really, really weird stuff going on there. Never seen like that. And this problem only occurs with my theme?
Can someone else confirm the same issue? It would be nice to get this fixed, but I really don't know how since my phone is showing all the fonts just fine with right sizes and everything.

Your AeroBlue theme is great, because I think it's great when a relatively large amount is transparent.

Could you possibly change the blue on how the Nokia Nseries theme, because this is more visible in the black background.

D-Theme AeroBlue

Nokia Nseries Theme

If you opens SMS, up to me in a relatively dark blue "No talks" and in the email program when you are on the new email is my own email-address to dark blue!

SMS

EMAIL

In the statusbar at the brightness setting you see it bad!
And the yellow circled back to the NSeries Blue!

Stausbar

It will only improve it so that everything can be better overall view and make no criticism of your art themes. I personally would find it with the blue from the theme Nserie chic and eventually you could even change it or create a AeroBlue II.

Thanks for testing Dr.MZ! So basically what you want is a brighter blue on some fonts? That's doable. App manager icons I'd like to keep the way they are and also the brightness indicator. I like to have it lookin same as buttons.

If there's something dramatic to fix I will change the blue at the same time.

Hi, I really like your SimpleBlue theme but do not like the orange in the SimpleMaemo. (I like flat themes)
Is it possible to make a SimpleMaemo theme but with no orange? Like SimpleGray? =P
