I agree but I dont think there is a way to know how long you turned your device off.

if the phone dosnt know when you turned it off it wouldnt know what task it missed. it can execute tasks at startup but how would it now wich ones it would be all or nothing or maybe a set time back like a month or hour ect..

Maybe I am wrong but here is an example which should work:

1. You set an alarm to 01:00pm
2. The phone is switched off from 12:30 - 01:30pm
3. After the phone is switched on again it checks the tasks
4. If something in the past wasn't executed it will be now

Isn't that possible?

@stobbsc: what exactly did you try? disabling extras-devel and installing with the GUI-package-manager? Or did you try to install a previous version from terminal?

I enabled devels and then tried to do the install using the version number...

Did I do it wrong?
Which version should I be trying to install?

sorry, no idea then… I have version 0.1.8-3 installed, which is apparently the only one available in the repositories…
Perhaps we can help if you post the exact error message.
