i think this is a grat post but some of the things u mentioned i was able to use or do them w PR 1.1 like: Mark and Delete/Share Multiple Conversations/Emails/Images. and some others....

It doesn't work well with Nokia Messaging. It might be a bug worth filing

no afaq it wasnt there before. Yes one could scroll from month to month but now it comes with a very nifty smooth movement. Its that beautiful movement we were pointing out.
