Hi,
new version 0.5:
I think I fixed the bug with the multiday events
I changed the calendar-size selection, to support all
values from 1 to 9
I look at the current theme for the widget
background. (I don't know how to handle the
applet icon, are those icons not themeable?)

I'm sure the calendar applet icon is in 48x48, but either way definitely themeable

It's replacable, but NOT themeable (you cannot make the icon to change with the current desktop theme). And I think that was the thing the developer wanted to know.
It's not a good idea to overwrite any system default icons 'coz such action would be visible with or without this applet and with any theme currently selected.

.....Yes, at the moment all today events are shown. It is just the
easiest way, so I don't have to care about updating the
event list. But I will change this, so the event list should be updated
as soon as the current event is over.
