Ok so weirdly after a reboot I can now see the values. Can I make a request however. Would LOVE a date String under the clock.

@Nicolai

I have one problem with desktop-clock-widget. Instaled some theme from Gnome look and after that widget crashed. I1m not able to start it again to change theme back to default. Any idea how to reset it back?

Tnx for great work, using Mac clock on my Ubuntu box and here it is!

Hi uros,

you can edit the config manually.
The config file is :
/home/user/.desktop_clock_widget/config

change the line
use_stock_theme=false
to
use_stock_theme=true
and remove
the line
custom_theme_name=YOUR_THEME_NAME

regards
Nicolai

Hmm one problem, well this is new for me running Linux 5 years.
1. Where is that hidden file .desktop_clock_widget/config ls gives mi nothing on xterminal
2. Witch application for editing? File manager?

In xterm enter:
cat /home/user/.desktop_clock_widget/config
And you will see the contents of the config file.
install leafpad or use vi for editing this file.

You can even remove this config file and restart the phone.
After that the clock widget should work again.
Remove the file with:
rm /home/user/.desktop_clock_widget/config

It's a beautiful little app. But I have one problem with it (though no showstopper). I'm using it with the HTC Hero clock theme from gnome-look.org. Every time after reboot I have to reselect the theme, because it otherwise only displays the clock hands, the background is invisible... is there an easy solution for this?
