Scid phone comes with skid marks?

We finally got an announcment. Very nice gesture by Jolla to announce the phone. Now, what do we think about the shipping date?

1. Shipping immediately or within a few days after announcment.
2. Before second half of 2013 begins
3. 3 month after announcement
4 more than 3 months after announcment.
5.jolla don't know yet. It all depends on the number of preorder

What's the right answer?

I don't want a phone I wanna a mini computer. I think that's what people that want a hardware keyboard really want

I loved Maemo and Meego. Had an N900, two at one time. Upgraded to The N9 when it was released.

Did a bit of development on both; mainly the N9, but I outgrew them once they became outdated (mainly due to screen and camera hardware).

Now have the L920. Its better in evey way except for apps really! Mainly, I just miss timed profiles...... I do miss full swiping a bit too.

I am very interested in the Jolla OS though! Id jump ship once I confirmed it's worth it.

As the rumor said a modular phone?!! Thumbs up!

So on interesting question is screen size. Once you go beyond 5 inch you can't get back to a smaller screen as your main phone. So almost everyone who has bought a new device since n9 will "downgrade" with a 4.6 jolla screen. Now, luckily for Jolla we are many with several devices, the question is how many do need another secondary, third, fifth or eleventh phone since last year? That's why jolla should include qwerty slider. To make it a disc phone and not another android device. Bring me something unique design! Not just talk about we are unlike.
