Can't confirm on J1 - swiping up opens the launcher in every app I tried incl mail and others with long lists to scroll - with and without coderus patch ...

Swipe from an open app to the events view, then swipe back. You are not back in the app you came from, you are in the home screen. Very annoying.At least I think it is new. I have a vague recollection of something like that in very early releases but I thought it was fixed a long time ago. It would annoy me beyond words otherwise. Or was it a patch that no longer works?

Sounds like your screen is broken because that isn't normal and it makes sense considering the right edge in landscape is the bottom edge in portrait. Open csd and try the test for 'Surround touch'.
