Done a mistake!
Updated to new OS (1.1.7.29) but forgot to uninstall eventsview with settings applet.
Tried to after but no luck!
Had this problem before but cannot remember how I solved it.
Now eventsview cannot install or uninstall completely.
And again Developer mode cannot be applied.
Done some pkcon refresh and update and after that Dev mode off!
tried pkcon remove-sailfishos-eventsview-control-with-settings-applet-patch with no success.

I am sorry but I tried everything all of you described in the previous pages with no success.
Tried removing ausmt, repos, but I cannot remove patchmanager, eventsview or gallery zoom.
Am I missing some solution written somewhere?
I still dont have Dev mode access!
Except Factory reset, what else?

Can you explain about your problems? Why you can't enable developer mode. Provide logs from terminal probably.

@anig, my Nexus 5 runs SFOS 1.1.7.25 and has the Jolla calendar application 0.5.3 (installed from the store) and your "upcoming events on cover" can't be installed, it says : "nothing provides jolla calendar 0.5.0".

What is funny is the patch for the lockscreen can be installed.

That is by design, I added a dependency to patchmanager and calendar . As I haven't upgraded yet my calendar version was 0.5.0 so I required exactly that version. Main reason was that the patch adds calendar settings, which don't exist for at the moment. If Jolla were to do their own calendar settings then there would be conflicts.

It should work now, i've set it to require any version upto 0.5.3.

@anig, I've found 2 issues with the patch Calendar on lockscreen.

1. I set the patch to have only a top border. When there is no event, this border is set displayed on the screen.

2. Specific to the Nexus 5 running SFOS, the patch is shifted on the right and about 30% of the patch area is outside the screen.
