pre-orders should Definately be allocated first. They should at LEAST ship EVERY LAST pre-order prior to putting a single unit on a retail shelf. I do not care if they hand the last pre-order box out, then immediately start stocking with what is left, but they should be allocated to pre-orders first.

Well I was too stingy to pay for express delivery when they forced me to re-order, so even if mine ships tomorrow, or the morning of the 19th I'm probably not going to get it until next week.

I'm quite liking the Motorola DEXT, though.

tell me what wasn't released?
wasn't the press release you linked released or what

are you a 11 years old fanboy? what is your point? the quote from press release says you need the butler i mentioned...

e: i'll do the math for you just in case.
retail stores gets the devices last. and the devices will be at stores in this month. preorders are higher in priority, so those will be at customers a bit before than in stores if nokia holds their promise (nokia online store finland written statement)

so: the date who you all are asking is 30.11.2009*

(*unless nokia postpones the date)

nice job greeting new members ossi.

Try and be a voice of reason buddy, we will all get N900s soon, and life will be good, no reason to get mad at each other.
