So basically you add the line:
background-opacity: 0.5 /* 1: black, 0: complete transparent, ie. 0, 0.1->1 */
to the empty row above background-color.

yeah, I think the key is to edit statusarea.css but I'm not brave enough to try adding background-opacity. It is possible to replace tge black color with an image though.

Hi,
as far as I know, PR1.3 will be deployed in the following days. What happens to the tweaks that have been done in the PR1.2? Do I have to restore the backup prior to the update?
