So, I just realized how much time I spend on wifi vs Tmobile's data. Opera 12 has worked great and still does on wifi after the crashing first popped up but I've now noticed the crashing behavior rears it's head whenever I try to load a site while away from wifi. Just curious if anyone else can confirm the same behavior?

Crashes regardless of connection for me. Works fine when I open X-Terminal, type "opera" and press enter.

...it's strange to see this thread sleeping...

N900 is really still alive, and it seems to be far from the end of the road!

So, i don't think to be the only one hoping in a new opera build!!

Ohrn, are you still around?

Ohrn didn't had any N900's anymore... So I think it's really dead

Opera Software have moved on. There was never a 13.x or 14.x build. After 12.16, they abandoned the nice compact Presto engine and started using Chrome's Blink engine. It has some nice features and is superfast with FB, Gmail etc but missing many standard features and would be too bloated to run on our beloved N900s.

Anyone still have a copy of beta 15 ie opera-mobile_12.1beta1-15~fremantle0_armel.deb ?
