btw, one way to check how much space is needed is to go into deails on the update entry, then hit the rightmost tap (installing). tere will be a a list of the dependencies the package have, and also a total size.

as an example, gnumeric is listed as 6,3MB. but checking "installing" it says 20,1MB!

anyone feel like checking what it says about the ssu update?

Ok, after reading so many "warning with running out of space or it will kill your tablet" I have a question: how much free space do you need to update safely? I assume it depends on what you have installed, but some idea of the number would be welcome.

edit: lol, you gave the answer before I could ask the question, thanks

Could you please post a link to the update. Searching thru Google doesn't turn it up. Thanks.

tried an apt-get upgrade - Not enough space,
apt-get clean, then upgraded - Not enough space and couldnt get online and rebooted. Now the N800 remains on the Nokia Logo Screen of Death ... Sigh...

Hope there is an osso command to bring up the network. Or you could just try to browse to a website/email/messenger etc, to see if the connection gets back up again.

No issues with my update. I hope it fixes all the modest error popups that I've been getting. Also hope it fixes the modest 100%-cpu-draining-my-battery problem.

Did I do anything wrong??? Can someone verify that pls!
What's the fix for this? I experienced the same results as Howie_it.

TIA,

I'm just getting 503 errors for the Nokia repos. Service unavailable.
