had issues with it on the app download program removed and found that I had to go off line to finally stop the reboot process dont know if this made a difference. Nokia told me it may be a process of shutting down and if it last for longer than 5 mins call them back. After I removed the repository of deval and went on a total off line mode it appeared to stop the mutiple boot up process when shutting down

Nope didn't touch anywhere near devals, my phone just keeps restarting and restarting. go into mail for exhange to setup account, restart. try browsing, restart. open this, restart. and it's all at random, not at the same time. the only guaranteed way is not to touch it to not let it restart. I think I'll go exchange my phone today for a new one.

Are you talking about extras-devel? End users shouldn't have that enabled in the first place, especially if they are still testing out the basic operation of the phone. It's for developers.

Don't enable the extras-devel repository until you are sure your phone works, and only then when you know what you are getting into (read any of the discussions on talk to see why).

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?

I'm having this problem and I can't even send it in for replacement . Amazon doesn't have the stock to replace with... So i guess i'm stuck waiting for a fix if there is one. Using ATT SIM, likes to crash randomly for no particular reason.

I've had the phone for almost 12 hours now, and some unexpected reboots as well.

And another as I was typing this (luckily on my PC). Perhaps it's because the battery is full and charger still connected. I'd just opened up a page to get a podcast and had gtalk open with a friend.

I have only installed from Maemo Select/Extras repository (no devel or testing at all).

PS. I'm doing the same as I did when I got my Bold and N82, no SIM card for a few days, just wi-fi to test it out and play around.

PPS. It's only started since I switched on bluetooth, to transfer files between my N82 and the N900.
