Confused:

The description for headset control says: ...
Daemon allowing control of Media Player with the wired headset button.

Would this application allow the said feature with a bluetooth, single button headset?

No it will not, but do you really want to install the package in the moment you pull out the dusted wired headset to quickly make a call, just then try to remember this thread again???
It is just one of the things did not do right from the start.

I thought these drivers make some bluetooth functions disabled as these are for wired headset. So I removed, it is working perfect

Hello,
I use a Nokia BH-505 stereo bluetooth headset with N900.
Connection, audio quality and playback from Mediaplayer are basically fine.
I do get a problem though when I pause a track: resuming playback is not possible after that, it just starts playing for a second and goes silent again, then another bit of sound, and so on. Also, the external mic is activated and I can hear outside noises.
The whole thing can't be stopped, either, except by closing the Media Player altogether. The only way to get a normal playback again after a crash (caused by sinply pausing playback) is to dis- and then re-connect the headset and restart Mediaplayer.
This behavior was not there right from the start though, everything worked fine for a while after I bought BH-505. The problems may have started after I made changes to my N900 -
Does anyone happen to know anything about the current bluetooth stack? Maybe there were changes made to it in CSSU (I'm running the latest CSSU + power kernel 48 at this point, but I'm not sure the problem didn't occur before I installed it)?
Thanks for any pointers, Ben

Btw, before Nokia BH-505 I used a Plantronics Backbeat 905, which is much nicer to wear, but doesn't shield off outside noise as well as the BH-505's in-ear buds.
I ditched the Plantronics though because the connection was very poor, it would be disturbed by simply moving my arm or putting N900 in my pocket etc. Compared to that, the BH 505, while not as comfy, delivered flawless connection+playback (initially - see above)

I got the same problem with bh-214, but it only happens after making or answering the call, i can normally pause music. In my opinion it's kernel-power fault, so i asked pali about it. He answered that he don't know how to solve this problem and maybe it's connected with bluetooth mouse module.

Is Pali the guy who made kernel-power?
What about reverting to kernel-power 47? You think would be the same problem? Tried anything there yet?

yeah, pali is developing kernel-power but i'm using now kp49 and have the same problem with headset since kp46. I always forgot to check if headset is working fine just after flashing, because installing kp and cssu are first things i do after flashing
