Swipe is not possible on N900, , buy a N9 for that.

As I already said, CSSU is meant to add patches and provide system upgrades as Nokia will not be updating our N900s, it will not add new features [only missing features to current apps].

ok in pictures first show different icons on top in lockscreen and desktop? make meego icons on for top desktop? i have n900 no n9. right now looks like n900 maemo still. n9 has more different screens. if this is put on with CSSU more changes can be made, and choices for operating system for everyone not just me. everyone want n9meego for this and CSSU, work together!

Ok, I will look into that matter in next update, at present we are busy making the .deb package so that more members can experiance this.

what is for update? start over? how if some files are installed? do this changes for next update before packages! everyone will be happy! make it more meego and CSSU, more like n9! also, for app manager!

ok no update and tried files guide like you sya. now n900 stuck in starting! i need this help! how to fix and reverse changes? warning! do not install!

Just a reminder that swipe is quite possible on the N900 (accessing history in microb, for example), but it lacks a system-wide implementation in Maemo5 (which is where swipe originates from).

Yes I know that... but if system wide swipe is implemented then it may break the swipe functions in microb, and also it might not be possible on N900 [Maemo] because of the closed parts.

btw Swipe is also present in Nemo Mobile for N900.

After which step [Stage and step number] does it doesnt start? Did you make backup-menu backup as instructed?
If you didnt created the backup then I cant help you.

Edit: and do you know to reflash your n900?

1. Enable a new empty homescreen. 2. Insert a New Queen BeeCon Widget 3. Now press on the widget setting of your newly added QBW. 4. Press on Add Cmd 5. Enter Title as “ Menu ” 6. Enter Command as [dbus-send --type=signal --session /com/nokia/hildon_desktop com.nokia.hildon_desktop.set_state int32:128] (Without Square brackets) 7. P ress “ Save ” 8. Press “ Save & Run ”

ok I do this and n900 crash. start again and see icons at top, and crash again and again! is not safe. i need n900 family pictures ok. not backup.

The Update was meant to provide extra stuff and not to solve bugs,

The guide is already bug free, and is been tested by couple of members here, and is been confirmed.

You have certainly done something wrong by yourself.

The steps you are describing doesnt touch N900 system files [which would give you system crash], so its not the problem with that step...

Solution: if you have a backupmenu backup then restore that, you will have everything back...

and which types of icons are you getting/saying, please provide a screenshot [Ctrl Key + P to take a screenshot and copy and paste the screenshot you will have in "MyDocs/.images/screenshots/" to your computer and then upload it here.].

What N900 Family photos, you mean you took some family photos with n900 , those... ? you will have them back when you will restore the backup.

Edit: BTW which version of CSSU are you using? Stable or Testing? and which version? Because Stable is not supported as said in the first post.
