1. it's not fully satisfying that the countdown has no mark that shows it's in "testing mode". why not give the yellow color to the running countdown already! and furthermore switching could be able before the countdown is started and marked by a yellow start button. would that even have a better look and feel in your opinion? switch yellow switch green...
2. when pausing in testing mode a leading sign would be useful. i suggest a negative sign when countdown is paused (that would be the amount of time you have to subtract) and a positive sign when stopwatch is paused.
3. switching stopwatch on/off can be disabled when the stopwatch is already running.
situation: a dish is set on start and another dish or just a time is set from the dropdown menu. when adjusting that time to zero it shows that dish set on start instead of "choose dish".

I like to stick to the principle: green = countdown, orange = pause and yellow = stopwatch. What I changed, is that a small alarm icon is shown next to the remaining time if the stopwatch function is activated.

You can't activate the "testing mode" earlier, as the buttons are disabled at start (you can set it when the time remaining color is red). As I like the disabled effect, I leave that as it is.

bug:
- create a dish with a short period of time (10 sec) for testing perposes
- set it on start
- restart cooktimer
- start that countdown and activate testing mode
- wait 20 sec (or 2 times your adjusted period of time)
-> an alarm banner is shown

1. bug: unpausing/pausing quickly leads to multiple signs.

I know it's possibly pushing cooktimer out of scope a bit but it could be handy to use a stopwatch for some recipes.
Therefore would it be possible to long press a button to start stopwatch mode from 00:00:00?

1. bug: unpausing/pausing quickly leads to multiple signs.
This behaviour occours in the second and third timer. The first timer deletes the leading sign immediatly after unpausing, the others don't.

- set it on start
- restart cooktimer
- start that countdown and activate testing mode

Request: open a dialog "set time for <dish>: yes/no" by double press on the orange time counter bar in testing mode.
The banner label might be changed then into "adjusting mode (de)activated".
Therefore would it be possible to long press a button to start stopwatch mode from 00:00:00?
Another useful idea I had was an option for a global adjustable "beep" every 'x' seconds each stopwatch counts.
