Hi frals.

After testing the v0.9.13...
All functions working perfectly for me !!! Send/receive, reply, forward, reply via SMS, share via service, receive GIF images, deleting - all of those work perfectly !

except 3 old things..

1) The other phone can't receive my message, if I send mms without text.

2) The other phone can't receive my message, if I send mms with hebrew text.

3) If I send the mms via "Share via service" to the specific phone SE K610. Like before, this phone can't open this file (attachment-BSMN), but now this file received without suffix ".jpeg". Only on this phone. I tested it too on N82 , and it's received perfectly...

Thank you for your hard work !

frals,

Have you considered including a DB of the configurations that are on
http://wiki.maemo.org/MMS so a user could simply chose a country and provider? For normal users that would make usage simpler.

Interesting, could you email me the log please? fmms@frals.se, thanks!

Thanks for testing, these 3 are on the pile of stuff to fix but as 3) seems to affect only very few devices it's ignored for now, and uh.. yeah, it's on the list Thanks for testing!

If anyone is up for it, I'd love to incorporate that list BUT, I'd need in a format that is easy to parse as well as (preferably) MCC/MNC numbers for all operators on there to make the match automatically As of PR1.2 fMMS should fetch the settings automatically from the phone for most operators (I hope )

Hi frals!

Tested 0.9.13 a lot and most things work like a charm. Only two problems:

-Havoc mode failed for me. No message that a MMS arrived, receiving the MMS causes fMMS to crash. Here's the log:

http://sbock.net/upload/fmms.log

Remark: This is no specific 0.9.13 problem. Havoc mode only very seldom works for me during fMMS development. But I personally prefer rude mode with is perfectly fine for me.

-The issue with the wrong view of MMS from a web address sender and no phone number stays. I reported this problem before. It's really no show-stopper but perhaps there is a solution for it in the future...

Thanks and very well done so far!

Weird - I see no mention of fmmsd even receiving anything in that log. :/

Could you send ~/.fmms/mms.db to fmms@frals.se so I can experiment some with it? I tried to reproduce here but I failed By sending this file to me I can see all messages listed in the "mainview" (ie who its from/to, when it was sent/received as well as the subject of the message). If you don't trust me with this information I understand but then I'm afraid I can't debug the problem further at this point

Try to reload the log. I shortly updated my server, perhaps you get the old log. Sorry for that. I send you the requested file later...

Edit: Done.

Display issue fixed in 0.9.14

Also think I fixed so that the APN stuff to make sure the MMS APN isn't default works now

maybe it's time change text in tap area from image to media??

BTW why sending messages from fMMS lasts longer that in normal mobile?? I am not a lot into programming so I have no idea and just wondering

Just something I noticed on T-Mobile USA.

If I set fMMS to use original, and I resize to medium from share service, the receiving phone will not receive the picture.

If i set fMMS to resize to large, and I use image size Preserve original from share service, the receiving phone will.

I don't understand why though because both scenarios resize the picture to 640.

When fMMS resizes, T-Mobile accepts it. When maemo resizes, T-Mobile won't.
