Hi,

I have download the last version .37 of sailfishOS file.

If I copy the file on my N950 how can I replace the old sailfish system I already had?

What is the command line to exctract and copy+replace please.

Thanks in advance.

IMO you shouldn't be trying to port any newer kernel to Harmattan but Mer/Nemo/Sailfish.

I follow this guide to install Sailfish on my N950.

I don't know where is localized Sailfish on my N950?

/dev/mmcblk ???

How can i know?

And I want to replace the old version with a new version how can i do ?

EDIT:

On my ubuntu system:

Delete old sailfishOS:

rm -frv /media/Alt_OS/*

Now Install new 0.37 sailfish OS:

tar -xvjf sailfish .tar.bz2 --numeric-owner -C /media/Alt_OS/

I have a big problem now the version is not stable

What is the best last version for N950? 0.37 mode in landscape and a lot of bug impossible to see

Well, it is whete you have installed it, obviously. When you are using ubiboot you can put your OS'es wherever you want, but usually mmcblk0p4 is used for Nemo/Sailfish.
(for example I have both Nemo and Sailfish, so my Sailfish lives on mmcblk0p5...)

As for how to replace the Sailfish installation with a new one, just mount your Sailfish partition somewhere, delete the content and extract the new FS image there, no need to do anything complicated...

1.0.3.7 is my latest release but as you see it has issues. If you wonder why I released this then its to enable folks to help with fixing the bugs.

1.0.2.5 is a better version but again is not a 'daily driver'

Can't help with nitdroid I'm afraid.

No reason to put Nitdroid on it's own partition, it is best to have it on your /home/ just as the default install is.
Nitdroid is launcehd as chroot jail, not as an own independent OS.
