They increased their sales by 20% and made some profit. Not bad. Where is Jolla?

HAHAHA

Non-phone division of Nokia: 204 million profit
Phone division: 86 million loss
Total: 118 million profit

Spend it on the Lumia line?! Burn all the money! Nokia's profit has just doubled by shedding their phone devision!

The sales were only significant in the US.

Nokia didn't fare so well in other regions, however, where overall device and service sales continued to fall, reflecting droopy demand for its older product lines. This caused a steep 22 percent drop in total revenue compared to last year, although the company still managed to scrape an operating profit of 118 million euros. Overall, it's clear that Lumia sales aren't yet sufficient to balance out problems in other areas, but they certainly seem to be enough to keep the company relevant until it can step under Microsoft's umbrella next year.
Tell the entire story dude.

BB is dying. There's no turnaround to report.

Its all positive. Stop hating. Get your sailors to show a product instead of boozing, womanizing and coding poorly beta devices.

I am thinking of writing a bot whose only activity would be posting "Don't feed the troll and most of all, do not quote him as it defies the purpose of ignore lists!" about once per two weeks or so in every major thread. That is approximately the time it takes people to start thinking "oh, he is wrong I should tell him he is wrong and everyone will be happy." and everything starts all over again. The question is who is worse - the troll or the ones who quote him and feed him. He is not going to stop, so it's up to you, smarter people, to ignore him.

To the topic - this 'legendary week' thing seems bit weird to me. I don't think they will make the release collide with Nexus 5, so it must be something else. The logical thought would be announcing a partnership (an operator or an OEM), but then what would be the point of calling all employees back to Finland?
My guess is they have finally completed the works on Sailfish OS v1.0 and they're making a party and deciding what to do next.

given that we are ALL waiting to hear the release/shipping date they need to be a damn sight more careful if execs are mouthing off about "legendary weeks" if they are merely talking about a booze-up in Finland
