A too much high cyclemultiplier can slow down things. On stock speed i usually use 3-4

Good to know - but doesnt explain why wipeout etc ceased working in this version.

What would be a good cycle multiplier for a max. speed of 1000 GHz ?

It's depends on the game, but i noticed that at stock speed a cyclemulti of 5-6 is too much higher and things slow down. For 1000Mhz i think that 6-7-8 would be nice but as i already said you need to test it for every game...

Considering the GG doesn't feature enough buttons to work with PSX, I fail to see how that would be possible.

I used frame skip 7 and 8 just for fun and i was very surprised to discorver that Wipeout 3 and in particular Ridge Racer 4 runs really smooth. I was expecting a choppy frame rate but no, it's really smooth. Maybe frame skip works in a different way and not as i thougt...

Try frame skip 7 and 8!

EDIT: Same occurs with diablo, really smooth framerate with frameskip 7 or 8. Maybe frameskip 8 (17-18) skip a frame every 17-18...but only smoku can say that. It's awesome!

EDIT2 (the revenge): Incredible speed boot even with gran turismo with frameskip 8. Guys it's really smooth!

yeah i tried this too with frameskip 8 it felt like the old gui psx4all with cycle multi around 5 for final fantasy 7. sound isnt the same speed though

but smoku the glitch is still there i get stuck in the submarine underwater and when flying the highwind over the gold saucer. is that a glitch with the core psx4all? works fine on epsxe with same iso and save

i find the higher the cycle multiplier is set the faster the game runs with psx4all so i use 10 on all games
