the settings you have showed me
have the same idea of vi_'s
he told me to avoid unneeded frequecies cause it takes power and energy switching to them
then to the maximum one
will test that method

yes back in the thread when we were talking about it thought i'd try it. don't know what has happened to profile, but it works really well (for me may be totally different for another n900).
also turned my wifi down to 10mW also picked this up from vi_

Best way to check your device performance is to use some benchmark tool, like nbench, and check which setting (voltage, freq, etc) gives the best battery performance (=power/freq, [uW]/[Hz]).

My best configuration for kernel-power is a bit extreme and may not work with all N900's out there, but I find it very effective both power and battery wise:

With this, I basically just enjoy every frequency over 500, while letting my N900 switch between them with ease using the conservative governor. The voltage values are custom set, they are the lowest values that allow my N900 perform every task without crashing/rebooting.

Powersave bias AFAIK works to prevent the CPU from reaching the highest frequency possible, thus save power.

c..no 1 is helping me in the new thread..i new it...i am checking wakeups frequently..sometimes i saw 538 and some time 1026 and sometimes 4098..what actually is this wake up? and how to reduce it?
