Well that truly sucks as facebook and other site videos no longer play, they only give upgrade warning. One ore way Nokia really screwed everyone.

There is a link on this website for a version of libflashplayer that supposedly is flash 10.1

the author got it from an IRC chat. He is the same guy that made the FMTX script for extra frequencies so I guess he is legit. He does not say if he tested it though.

I have tried it by replacing the original but when loading the about flash page from adobe I get a missing plug-in icon.
I don't know, maybe I did something wrong. I checked the permissions and changed ownership, but still it didn't work.

PS. the file size is around 8 MB as opposed to 6 MB for the stock one so it's shouldn't be a tweak flash version.

Your braver than i sharing that on here, but cheers for the link, the only other one ive seen (on some forign page i translated) was far to small to be the real deal, this one looks a lot more promising

Well, it's a link to a site that links to the file, he explains were it got it from and I checked it a bit.
As far as I know the TI file was version 10,1,92 and this one is version 10,1,53 from the IRC transcript so it' not the one released to developers (at least the latest one).

Same here Doesn't work at all.

I dont know the specifics of the licences for redistributing adobes flashplugins, or if this one can be redistributed freely, personaly if the only i can get it is ilegaly then i dont have a problem with that, however this isn't the place for it, i was refering to the fact that linking to a site that contains a download is just the same as linking to the download its self.

saying that it doesn't mean i wont use any links i find on here

Well I have found a problem with the two links. The direct file from jacekowski is bigger than the file from the IRC rapidshare link (which was zipped).
The IRC file is around 6 MB like the original file, so maybe it's a tweakflashed one.
I am installing it right now. Is there a way to tell the difference?

UPDATE:
Original file is 6732516 bytes
new file is 6723876 bytes which is actually a bit smaller, so I really don't think it's flash 10.1 Usually new functionality means bigger files. Going to test it either way.
