Telescope takes wallpaper from hildon-desktop's configuration files when starting. So, if you change your wallpaper, in order to get telescope's wallpaper updated, you will need to reboot or restart telescope by command line (as root):
Code:
/etc/init.d/telescope-svc restart

Offhandedly, the background of telescope seems to default to black when a color is used for the desktop background instead of an image.

(I don't really care, but someone might.)

I just started using telescope yesterday. I was worried that it might be a little slow. It's amazing! I never used that app-switcher button before. Now I use it all the time.

Thanks!
Yes, i forgot about someone could be using plain color instead the wallpaper I have posted the bug in telescope's garage page.
Unfortunately, i'm now splitted between telescope and tear projects, but i will try to spend some time on both...

Same here! I've had the Diablo app switcher become unresponsive when my system was bogged down, so I was afraid Telescope would be worse. I don't think it is. In fact, Telescope actually seems more responsive.

Actually, Telescope is downright snappy compared to anything I've ever seen on Maemo4 :-)
