The svn build already has shuffle. Open the menu and click the two parallel arrows. The will change to intertwined arrows and from then on played tracks are shuffled.

Finally got time to dive into thumbnailing. Unfortunately right now I can't post it as a patch (only NIT here), but can provide patched trunk/components/mediascanner/image.py
Hoping it''s useful

P.S. *.py is not a valid attachment extension... Sweet.

I've had a funny issue with MediaBox ever since first installing V0.95... every time I pause it, if I wait more than a few seconds before resuming, I need to re-doubletap the play button on the track I am wanting to play.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a unique issue?

This is a known issue and has to do with MediaBox stopping the mplayer backend when idle for some time to save battery. Resuming after this doesn't work properly in 0.95. Hopefully 0.96 will fix this.

Have you tried a fresh SVN checkout?
It looks like it works with a fresh checkout.

It works for me.
So, a few bugs I noticed so far :
- "back" button is half gone out of screen in "internet radio" view
- FM radio stations in the left list don't have icons to play
- Viewing an image stops whatever was playing

Good job, things have been kept simple, I like it.

It looks like it fails to load the mediascanner component. Can you show me the complete output of MediaBox?
Also try deleting "components/mediascanner" completely before checking out again. Maybe you got some SVN conflict in there.

Yes, the toolbar is getting quite crowded there. I don't think that we need the previous/next buttons with radio stations, so they are a good candidate to remove.

I must have forgotten those. I'll fix this.

What should be the correct behavior there? If you play music in the folder viewer, then load an image, you'd lose the controls for the music player. That's why music and video stops.
If an image is opened in another viewer, however, the music continues with the latest SVN version.

I'm glad you like the minor design change in the video/audio/image viewers.
