Hi everybody,
I registered especially just to say this so be grateful.
I have applied the three codes on the nokia shop and pre ordered my N900, with the price of £306.45. I didn't use topcashback as I am too lazy.
I then emailed Nokia customer care regarding the codes and their validity. I recieved the following response.

Thank you for contacting Nokia Care. We appreciate you choosing Nokia as your preferred device.

I hope everything is well. With regards to your email about the discount code and the expiration of this. We have checked this and rest assured that even though the Nokia N900 will be shipped after the said expiration date, the discount will still apply. Rest assured that you will only pay £ 306.45 when we ship the phone. Thank you.

Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you have any further questions.

I will leave off the name of the guy who gave this response just in case he gets shot for this.

To drag this back onto topic, you can also get discounts on your phone tarrif.
_only_ if you don't screw up - and they make it easy to screw up.

http://www.onecompare.com/ - compare a mobile phone - say you want a cheap one - I picked a nokia 1280 IIRC.

They then mail you (or maybe credit your account) the cashback over time.

For example, you can get 700 minutes, and lots of texts/month, and 1G/month, for about 35 quid a month direct debit - but with 100% cashback.

So - you can connect your new shiny n900 for free.

Why they do this, I don't know. But they do.

Just ordered using all 3 codes and topcashback. Beautiful!

Can you join a network with no phone purchased through them?? Perhaps in this case, pay as you go is the best option??

Would it be possible to bring this topic back to the initial subject, or create a more appropriate subject?

I doubt people who are interested in finding the best options for networking their n900 are interested in reading 10 pages worth of "codes" and "I bought mine for £xxx.xx".

Thanks

If the release date is indeed end of October why are the networks being silent? Tmobile have repeatedly told me they have no idea when or if it will be released (and mentioned by that prerogative it wont be out for 3/4weeks on Tmob).

Any insiders know anything from Voda/Tmob??
