I'm starting to waver a little after seeing the problems that are being reported already. It just seems like deja vu from the N97 launch.

Some good results with the memory card game, though, well done everyone. Now, the next thing I can't be bothered to search Google for is...

So, jumping on the 'Voda rule' bandwagon.
I think that whether you can jump on the "voda rule" bandwagon depend on your location.

I jumped on that very bandwagon myself (i never enter in to any more than the 30 day deals) thinking that voda rule - I geeked out on checking network operator maps for a while, which helped convince me that voda rule, however, when I put real world experience next to what their coverage maps suggest for my areas of working and living I am greatly disappointed. I use an iphone (currently) so my signal isn't as good as it could be anyway, but voda certainly dont help here.

Voda customer services I never had a problem with, but for coverage here, for me its Three (believe it or not) and o2 - with O2 I get a 3G signal nearly everywhere I go (even when their map says I wont) those two networks arent without their own faults in other areas though.

To be fair, I only really have problems with O2 at home but as that is where I spend 99% of my time, its pretty annoying.

I would get the N900 on T-Mobile anyway because the deals on Vodafone are a lot more expensive, so as long as MPD give me my Combi20 I will be happy.

well I got mine today from Nokia (not nokiaretail or the prolific liars @ mpd)

And i have to admit it's hard to put down. It''s much smaller than i was led to believe and really intuitive.

Best device I ever bought

16GB MicroSDHC, 26.99, free delivery

Try beat that
As great as that price is... I'm more tempted by the SanDisk one from CPW one: £31.99 - £5 extra for a genuine sandisk one? all day long in my book!

Must say I have to agree, an extra fiver for sandisk has got to be worth it. Having said that I (and others I know) have never had any problems with PNY memory.

So today's a new day, does anyone have any info on whether MPD will be receiving their stock today? tomorrow? Any other MPD related news/updates? I'm so bored of waiting for this phone now. I just pray that I'm not in the minority (assuming it's minority) that have a mic problem or rebooting problem, when it finally arrives!

Interestingly, I was chatting to a friend last night who recently decided to get the N97 mini, it's the first upgrade since he got the N95-1 3 years ago!! And he was telling me that when the N95 first came out it was riddled with all sorts of problems, including numerous reboots a day. Then the N95 went on to be one of the best phones ever! My N95 8Gb has rarely let me down!

It's not just the price that matters, its also what class of card it is...

I personally would drop below a class 6 for any 16Gb card as the faster the memory, the better the performance. The problem is so many retailers don't list what class the cards they are selling are...
