Just messes around with the iphone 4 a bit. Pretty nice as far as phones go but absolutely does not compare to the n900. If I had to give up my laptop and carry just the iphone i would absolutely strangle myself. Safari and multitasking are both a joke compared to the n900. With just the n900, not having any other computer around is not so bad.

I also realized that while the iphones vkb is quite good, i dont think there will ever be one good enough to replace a real keyboard. Bottom line, not for me.

I have to agree..... It is very annoying not to have flash etc in the browser.

Skype is offline, no multitasking yet.

There are so many things which are locked. It is a bit odd to pay for a device where every thing are locked away maybe apple should rent the phone to people instead.

Are you kidding me? I hold my N900 with both of my left and right foot lol.

I got a feeling that N900 is for left handed users! The power button, volume button, and camera button is on the right side. When you hold it with your left hand you can reach them comfortably.

Though I think the design is a little bit weird and awkward when making a phone call while charging the phone lol. Oh well I still making love to my N900 every night.

I feel it's hard to compare apples to apples on this occasion... The iPhone has only just been released and I'm sure the hardware specs would outperform that of the n900. There are definitely software advantages associated with the n900.

I've only had my n900 for a month, but in truth, seeing the iPhone 4 has had me think twice. The n900 has a lot of maturing and it's great seeing the open source support out there in the community. But, the iPhone 4 does video calls over mobile coverage! Come on Nokia, get your act together!

If the next revision of the n900 could be thin like the iphone, retain a keyboard, scratch resistant screen of the iphone, software maturity I'll definitely stick with Nokia and not fall towards the mainstream. But the geek factor associated with the n900 is not for everyone.

So after my rambling, I reckon if we had the best of both worlds, everyone would be a little bit happier... so nPhone or i900 anyone???
