I really really doubt that. N900 is for niche market but this rather cheap n8 will probably sell in huge numbers. It doesn't even have to be better than its rivals because of supply chain, but thatīs completely another story and thing that almost all blog writers from north America do not realize. Different yes but bigger...no :|

is this a test run reaction to a firmware update? ... because I dont have a flashing yellow box in my status bar...

It's a leak that is causing a lot of people problems. If there was ever a true "HERE BE DRAGONS!" warning for anything Maemo related, this is the one. Don't get it unless you want to take major risks.

The laundry app is broken from what I've seen. Not one person has had their laundry done for them yet by the N900. So in my opinion, it's not worth freaking out about it.

two different reports in youtube, one saying it plays smooth as, the other saying it's slow...

is it just the same as before?

Anybody try the SIP call? How is it now? is the choppy voice and disconnected problem has been resolved?
