Oh well I don't need to set anything to default btw the a option seems to be using ideal voltages since when i select ideal it says "default loaded".

from the script for the A option:
Code:
a|A) kernel-config load default
echo " " ;;
as you see that means the default ie. A option loads the default kernel which is 250 600

EDIT: i really admire the way you take care of your N900 i honestly flashed it so many times that i dont even bother putting personal data on it anymore :P :P

lol well I spend my entire salary on it with my first job during "summer" and anything I work hard for I try my best to take care of. I honestly don't have much data on my N900 just like 10 songs a couple videos and a lil bit of games. I don't need the 27 gigs.

Btw did you update the script yet? if so which one is it? 1.2?

Also you didn't underrstand my question it seems. When I load A the frequency is 250 600 BUT what is the voltage used for this default seting? Is it ideal voltages or the voltage setting Nokia uses as stock?

well, I don't know why did this happen, I've tried a couple of times, and it was always the same. I've used 1.2 version of your script and I have 1.2 update for maemo, version 10.2010.19-1.

I used your queenbeecon widget tutorial, and my default boot is standard nokia, and when I need extra juice, i use 850Mhz ideal.

ps.could you explain lv, xlv, ulv and if I want ideal in queen bee con, do I write ideal or smth else? thx

I appreciate the script however I'm unfamiliar with all the profiles and configuration details. Can you steer me in a better direction to configure the frequencies?

for ideal you type
Code:
sudo kernel-config load ideal ; sudo kernel-config limits (limits desired)
as for other profiles you just change the ideal with the profile you desire

and the explaining of each profile you will find in the post below

so tell me what do you want from your n900?
extra power? save battery?? or what exactly ??
and ill advice you with the best profile and other alternatives

I'm mainly looking to have extra power when using mupen and an overall snappier operation of the phone. I'd also like to extend battery life when the phone is locked though. I assume a profile with limits of 125 and 850 would work well however I'm still confused with the differences of lv, ulv, xlv, and ideal.

What do you think would work best?
