What's interesting is that Sandisk owns the patents to this technology. They license it to others, but all things considered, the various cards *should* be the same. I'm really amazed to see any report of compatibility issues with the Sandisk brand...

I'm having an issue with my A-Data 8g SDHC cards. If the N800's battery dies , I have to reformat the cards.

why do you not just plug the n800 to the computer with usb cable when transfering to/from it. I have just put the card in my n800 one time and never taken it out. I think some cardreaders for computers are not so good and might ruin what you got in the card. Do not think it ruin the card so you never could use it again

I've been having strange issues where my Nokia whitescreens (with logo, will not respond to any keys) after I swap SD cards; immediately beforehand, it refuses to read cards in either slot. It also will not boot with SD cards in the slots when this happens. When it is running and not crashing, the internal network card and external card slots do not show a card is inserted (AKA, work) at the same time; plugging in the external card makes the N800 think the internal card is ejected.

I suspect the culprit of these things may be an Adata microSD trio card.

I originally purchased it to have SD->USB capability after my pre-SD fix N800 killed one of my Sandisk Ultra Plus cards, and it worked before the update without crashing -- however, the internal card not appearing problem happened frequently.

It's not a huge deal to me (I just put my new Ultra Plus card in it instead, now that the update * crosses fingers * fixed it for good... and I set my display timeout settings to really large numbers just in case , but in case someone else has similar issues, I hope this helps.
