New Package but nothing exciting.

Just some cosmetic changes. Like -n900 instead of -custom. Still armel and not armhf, sorry. Source Package is inside.

Do you mean launchpad PPA archives?
Public PPAs are only for i386 and amd64 builds. Normal user cannot create armel PPA

attached is a patch against rev 77 which just changes 3 lines..

I re-uploaded the patch after removing || exit 1 from line 304 in install.sh as the selected kernel may not have an associated uInitrd, the script will exit without completing even if nothing has gone wrong.

No, not really. That's why I didn't press the issue. I am aware that noop sheduler use less cpu then cfq or deadline but there is somewhere a RedHead comparission floating around the Internet, saying that that other sheduler have only little cpu more strain but better I/O throughput. The n900 is no PC so would this matter?

There have also been a more recent disscussion on LKML about the default cfq and that deadline would be better on non-spinning storage. Talking about fast non-spinning storage devices and is sdhc class 6-10 deadline "fast" or cfq "slow" to improve?

Lastly I am not so sure about the driver quality of sdcard and emmc in the "old" kernel versions we use.

Unless we do a real Benchmack and stability Test, we wouldn't really know. So I see no reason to say no to noop but still nor sure.

can you upload the package somewhere else ? clicking the download button simply redirects to 2shared home page..

google docs (you can upload any file there not just documents) or box.com are friendly enough.
