You can't use the same number in two different devices at the same time Jhonny. (Why anyone would want that?).

In the WhatsApp protocol, the password is the IMEI. Since two different phones have two different IMEIs, they have two different passwords, and just one of them will be registered.

Since the update to the 0.0.21 version I seem to send empty apps from time to time during a conversation.

I just got this after the update, didn't got this once on the 0.0.19 and/or earlier versions. Its a bit annoying for the receiver(s), just letting you know. For the rest, doing great

And what were you doing exactly to send that? Yappari will never send something without you pressing enter or clicking the Send button.

That definitely doesn't happen to me.

I think you made the mistake to run Yappari as root. That would change the permissions of the log files. Then when you start Yappari again as the user, it doesn't have the right permissions to write the log files.
I tried to run yappari from xterminal as normal user.
I found something like this when yappari was running.

Code:
unable to open database file Unable to fetch row
QSqlDatabasePrivate::addDatabase: duplicate connection name 'xxxxxx-xxxxx@g.us', old connection removed.
QSqlDatabasePrivate::removeDatabase: connection 'xxxxxx-xxxxx@g.us' is still in use, all queries will cease to work.
I checked /home/user/.yappari, all database files are still there.

It's weird because I saw it's only me so far got this problem.

Jesus Christ.

DELETE the whole directories /home/user/.config/scorpius AND /home/user/.yappari (BOTH COMPLETELY DELETED).

REBOOT YOUR PHONE (to ensure no weird application is running or Yappari in the background)

Start Yappari CLICKING ON THE ICON in your Applications List (DON'T RUN IN IN XTERM)

Type again your country code and phone number, Yappari will detect you are already registered.

Enjoy.

damn, I was so careless.
The problem is not in yappari.

The problem is my rootfs
rootfs: 1 / 227 MB free.

No wonder my conversation messages also messed up.
I thought it was because of yappari too.

after following
http://wiki.maemo.org/Free_up_rootfs_space
and
http://wiki.maemo.org/User:Tanner#Sa...pace_on_rootfs

everything back to normal.
yappari is working again without any problem.

thanks again scorpius for great apps and for your reply.

first thanks for the program , it's very useful
Bugs i noticed :
1- every time i open yappari it asks for a name..
2- every time i open yappari it close the chats of the last session
3-it must read the status from the config file, and it doesn't
4-it reset the "last seen .." every session (this shouldn't happen)
5-it display "unknown socked" randomly

Thanks Scorpius

That only happens to you! Check your filesystem isn't full and that the directories have the right permissions. Looks like your Yappari can't write anymore to the config file (disk full/wrong permissions).

Yappari doesn't read the status from the config file. It's just there for debugging reasons. To change the status must be exclusively from the application.

About the "last seen" recovery every session: not implemented.
