any clues if jolla using same NFC and wifi sharing adhoc networks as nokia and N9? They dont tango with android which is bad.

Hurmula mentioned long back that they where doing extraordinary stuff with Joikuspot. I bought it for n900 long back and it worked great, at least for a while. Anyone seen if it will be included in sailfish for sharing wifi?

Note: Im not saying that is anybodys fault or that nokia, jolla or google is to blame here. I just want my devices to talk together.

Thanks but I already knew it is a square plastic thing of 13 in a dozen, has a display, swipe interface, life widgets with a certain degree of interactivity.
It has icons, rows of it, facebook and Angry birds.

Why they never show something interesting like web browsing or SIP or xmpp integration and security features?

The T-Shirt is quite OK quality (durable tissue and well stitched) so I have high expectations here.

Because, I guess, unfortunately most smartphone users are really not technically inclined at all, and won't understand the significance of those features. "Does it run whatsapps?" for them is much more important. People in general still have a hard time grasping the possibilities a certain technique will provide them.

Heck, even my colleagues (software developers) all buy Androids and even iPhones..

Apparently you missed the post 6 posts above yours, & this is something they're doing in snippets all the time (although it has dropped-off a lot lately).
I want to start to see a full narrative soon though, getting tired of the quilt-work, the dramatic affect they seem to think it has longer-term just isn't there.

So, did I miss anything? What happened in the end? No release or anything else?
