Let's hope we don't see to many dists and uis too early in the game. User base must be solid and sailfish must be established.

Need atleast a few iterations before going with in ui.

So this first phone might be Demo phone and it's up to partner to great ui and adjust the OS to their market. Will be intressting to see what functionality jolla phone has. Might be some kind of user beta or devphone even if the say it publicly. Do Bad we don't have even a leaked image.

Yes, Tizen 1.0 exists as an Operating system.

The thing is he haven't seen it on a device in the market nor do we have info about when it will exist.

Isn't he paid for saying things like that

Will be intressting to see what they are doing toghter with the Community in the future. Where is the leaked image of the phone?

I'm not sure...It seemed like he was on the MeR side of things but not within Jolla...However, look thru' his record and he's quite a nice fella so him giving out half-truths while *possible* seems quite unlikely...


Edit: Also, he has always shown an affinity for the greater good of the Community so some $ seems unlikely to change a person's character...

I don't need look at his record. I know he is a solid character.

Didn't mean that in a bad way either. But it should be clear what involvement and what he knows. I just don't like when people say something just becouse they can without any real information, without any solid information or specifics its just. WHAT IS HE SAYING?

Anyway its great to have him around

Tizen , Sailfish, BB10, Meltemi (r.i.p.) , Open Web OS....

so many great options but we (mortals) can't have a taste.
bad times to be a "niche mobile OS" entusiast : (
