Anybody know if I can use a phone to connect the N900 to use the internet?

ie. Using a AT&T 3G phone for data plan and then pair that with N900 via bluetooth; then go online on the N900.

I've been able to do this on all previous NITs.

This is in fact mentioned in the specs of the phone

Capability to serve as data modem via USB connection

I'm referring to the reverse, use my AT&T phone as a modem and let the N900 connect to it via bluetooth to go online.

This way I can use the N900 with no SIM card.

Yeah, adding Bluetooth DUN client support should be trivial. One of the BlueZ guys has a talk at the Summit about that topic, in fact.

I'm very glad that:
1. I wasn't hallucinating when I spotted vsync in some of the early videos
2. It's gone now!

That's wonderful The main reason I have a smart phone is to be able to communicate via ALL methods: Facebook, AIM, MSN, GTalk, Skype, etc. So I'm happy to hear this!

EDIT: Question, so .... I'm a total newb to Maemo, and especially Maemo 5. But... Telepathy-Haze is the built in app around the contacts program that allows you to have the chat function via skype, gtalk and ovi, right? So when TH releases their "newer version" You'll be able to chat across the other protocols? Thx
