Many big thanks for starting this project FRuMMaGe....great work.!
I seem to be having difficulty with this and would like some help if someone could explain what i may have done wrong please
I have read everything in this forum and gone over it a few times so as to try and not make any big errors(haha)...anyhow....
...Firstly i have titans power kernel v42...i use queen beacon to enable/disable my o.c (i use ideal 250-850) (whilst trying this out i disabled power settings and reverted to stock). i have python already installed i have sudsser installed and aricrack(v1.03) and the bleeding edge wl1251 drivers....i then installed faircrack(v2) and the old hildon.
i tried your old ping file to launch but had no look getting the icon onto the desktop so i used the xterminal method sh /home/user/MyDocs/FAS/launch.sh
that opened the gui but a lot of the buttons were grayed out and i started to get many error messages in the xterminal....
ls: /home/user/MyDocs/FAS/cap?WEP/*,cap: No such file or directory
Usage: basename FILE (SUFFIX)
..........................
Then after i select Monitor in the gui and select injection/ monitor mode i get the following type of messages:
insmod: error inserting 'cfg80211.ko': -1 Invalid parameters
insmod: error inserting 'mac80211.ko' -1 Unknown symbol in module
and many other simular messages ending with wlan0 No such device
ifconfig: wlan0: error fetching information: Device not found.
And finally if this is of any help the grayed out buttons in the gui are as follows:
in monitor: monitor mode "DISABLE" is grayed out
in access point: "WEP" START PACKET CAPTURE" "AUTHENTICATE" & "SATRT PACKET INJECTION" grayed out
in decrypt: "DECRYPT" is grayed out.
any further help would be greatly appreciated

its normal that its grayed out.
did you install the bleeding edge drivers?
i think that power-kernel must be installed and running.
if i take a look at conky it says power46-wl1 so i guess it doesn't work without power kernel.

yes i have the bleeding edge drivers....when i installed them i did notice v46 kept coming up so hopefuly the problem is related to v42 of titans kernel.
i will report back after i upgrade to v46.....it's very slow at the mo and taking about 5 mins for 1mb (upgrade is 5.39mb)

Did you follow the steps for installing the packet injection drivers. The Enable button loads a script which launches from the default install directory of them. I think this may be the problem.

I grabbed it from application manager and it seems like it did not install.
there is now /home/opt/john.
like FRuMMaGe said it a command line app. but to use.. simply "cd /home/opt/John" and run "john" you will see all the help information.
and sorry its not "/home/opt/john"
its "/home/opt/John" .. will fix the chase issue on my initial post.

i have the wl1251-maemo file in /home/user/MyDocs
in there is the binary folder the patches folder and the source folder and a readme file....is that correct?
when i select enable i get the same error before i upgraded to v46
