Did some more poking on the boot up spinner.
Still no dice
I've used the pvrtextool to convert to 24 bit .bmp's. Then opened them in gimp and changed color to my liking and then recompressed the .bmp through pvrtextool to the right format, but it's like it's not there when overwritten the org file and rebooting?

e: the plugin didn't work with my version of photoshop.

so, you need to reflash?
or you have droid and can restore original files from it?
damn, i crashed photoshop with that plugin :S
i will try with old 32bit version maybe that will work...:S
