I feel like a broken record, but why not try again...
We need a meeting. [...] My availability for the coming week [remark-by-me: 2013-06-03 to 2013-06-09] is wide open. With the exception of Thursdays from 3pm to 4pm (EDT) I'm generally open
Let's come up with some candidate dates/times... Maybe use doodle to poll people?
I think the last meeting request I got was more than a month ago. I am currently available next Thursday between 9am-2pm.

The issue with that request for "reimbursement" was that the request was made without mentioning that funds had already been solicited and donated for the hard drive. The prior donations were not mentioned at the time of the request for "reimbursement", so it is being handled with care in order to ensure that the donations to Hildon Foundation are dispensed properly without duplication. Woody was informed of this concern weeks ago and knew about it when the above comment was made
Code:Re: Fwd: Receipt for Harddrives Date: 2013-05-07 12:20 From: joerg Reisenweber <joerg@openmoko.xxx> To: robert bauer <nybauer@xxxxxx> CC: Craig Woodward <woody@xxxxxx>, Falk <falk@xxxxxx>, "council@maemo.xxx" <council@maemo.org>, Jim Jagielski <jimjag@xxxxxx>, "board@hildonfoundation.org" <board@hildonfoundation.xxx> [...] @Rob, re hardware/funds/reimbursement: Donations to me are not a discussion topic for HiFo (Reinob even made utterly clear in public post that he never even considered donating to HiFo - ponder why that's like this and you might find out about some unpleasant truths regarding HiFo's image in the public, caused by Rob). If I got any donations, what they been meant for and how I handle them is solely an issue between me and the donors (or those giving credit, you have no idea what I negotiated with those guys that transferred money to me). I plan to ask all people that gave me money what I shall do with it as soon as HiFo reimbursed me for the HW - until then it's my hardware, and for sure it's not HiFo's donations, harddrives, or whatever. I originally planned for a more cooperative approach based on mutual free information about state of things, but obviously that's not going to happen with Mr Bauer, who prefers to talk about me in third person and behind my back only, lately - even when it comes to questions that nobody except me can answer. You're not only killing community with such games, you kill yourself as well. And one more thing: I really hate the way you always try to make us guys in techstaff look like we were gangsters, while I think lawyers are the worst gangsters on this planet, maybe together with bankers. I am sorry I have to admit that I hope I won't be in next MCC or in HFC after elections, but if I am, I don't see any future for cooperation with a HiFo that's ruined and brought to zombie state by a Mr Bauer who hasn't radically readjusted his attitudes and habits. Would it be possible to set up your PayPal account for recurring payments? I found the PayPal website an intricate maze when it comes to finding any information beyond the simplest operation, but if I understand it correctly, it is not possible to send regular payments without something called a "subscription" that the "merchant" has to set up. I would like to send a small amount regularly each month automagically rather than having to remember about it. I guess if more people express a similar wish then it might be worth your while.

We were discussing this idea on #maemo the other night, actually. I think subscriptions are an excellent idea. It's something I'd like to seem implemented if elected. I'm open to ideas for subscriber benefits.

Will you guys find a way to agree on a meeting?
And then let me ask the mods in here to move/copy the relevant posts to a new thread titled "BoD internal chat, held public to let community know what's going on"

footnote: that request been placed by Woody, without me explicitly asking for it, since Woody thought it's natural when HiFo becomes legal owner of the HDD.

Call me names all you want, I won't be resigning as others have out of frustration of dealing with you. Your actions (and inaction) have cost this community dearly.
It's sad that you claim I am the one causing delay because I took three days to reply to a non-critical issue raised over a holiday weekend. This after months of you blocking everything from meetings to elections, and doing so in such a way that literally every person involved with HiFo has quit or simply stopped interacting with HiFo.
Perhaps now would be a good time to remind people why the PayPal link isn't working. Because you are the only person with access to the account, and for the past several months couldn't be bothered to call PayPal and/or the bank and fix whatever's wrong. Your "solution" was to have the link removed from the HiFo site.
The reimbursement issue: The request went from a PO request to a reimbursement request because HiFo was non-responsive for weeks. And when you did reply, it was that the new Board needed to meet, which you delayed for months, despite me calling for a meeting weekly.
The drives were purchased with funds from the pockets of two members here. They could by law request them back, since neither of them gave them as a donation to HiFo, nor have they been reimbursed as requested. That alone should spark the need to reimburse for the drives, regardless of who gave money to whom to help purchase them. I mentioned this several times, both in e-mails and at the only meeting held over the past 3 months.
In the very latest incident (for the switch) you were actually timely. Bravo, well done. Was it the realization that the community is pissed at you that finally got your attention, or were we just lucky in our request timing?
Regardless, one single timely action doesn't make up for months of delays and games. But you'll find that out soon enough, weather you bother to reply to me or not.
