While accessing a webpage requiring authentication, it gives a '401' error instead of prompting for username/password
e.g. the web interface of mldonkey
is it possible to change the icon? i don't like it so much
I was running the check that Steve Gibson has put on to verify that a web browser refuses to connect in https if the certificate has been revoked (simply connect to https://revoked.grc.com, and check that you get an error from the browser) and while the default Jolla browser behaves correctly, Webcat doesn't:

It'd be nice if the search engines (e.g. Google) used HTTPS in Webcat like how the Gecko based default browser does since that is based on Firefox.

Small update on the revoked certificate thing. It isn't implemented in qtwebkit and I don't see currently the need for it as it seems to be broken anyway

i mean http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=150
Your Webcat is much smoother than Jollas own.. that is good and odd.
Is it possible to use proxy on Webcat ?
Also, perhaps it is possible to add support for .torrent files using transmission by me

It will be cool if I can pass the proxy settings as a command line option also, like Chrome:
eg:-
google-chrome --proxy-server="socks5://127.0.0.1:6000" --host-resolver-rules="MAP * 0.0.0.0 , EXCLUDE myproxy"
This allows me to add another icon to use when connected to a proxy (ssh).
