Hello guys!
I don't know, if its alredy discussed here, but Jolla Tablet Mainboard and also Aigo x86 Mainboard has soldering points for (BGA?) LTE Modem. And ponts for GSM Antennas. The small flex daughter board for MicroSD-Card can be replaced with the same size daughter board but with additional SIM-Card slot.
How difficult / expensive would be to realise an LTE Version of the tablet?

Lack of 3g never was an issue for me since sailfish does quiet stable tethering from the phones.
But shouldn't it be possible to use a usb lte adapter?
I saw kimmoli doing some usb otg work a while back.
Does someone actually have usb otg working on Jolla Tablet?

On Aigo x86 Tablet and Android 4.4.4 (MUI) there is possible to use HUAWEI LTE Sticks, so the tbj-HW itself is LTE over USB-Host capable.
I'm not so familiar with HW-Adaptation, maybe someone can explain, what is needed, to get LTE-Sticks working on tbj-HW (Jolla Tablet JT-1501, Aigo x86, Yoyota Tablet)
