Currently, these items are scheduled to ship to us from the factory on 11/18/09:

As I have mentioned earlier T-Mobile's fair usage policy barely exists. You could easily do 2GB a month for your whole contract without them caring.

I used to break the limit constantly with my G1. I tethered 3 computers via wifi for a few weekends at a friends (no landline.) A few played WoW whilst I played Trackmania, all through my G1.

I even downloaded the beta of Windows 7 (4 GB) through my MSDN account.

Whilst pure data sims don't have terms & conditions regarding Skype & Tethering, they are expensive (£15 for 3-5GB.)

Well, I'm hoping for good news tomorrow, but now I'm sat here in a desert, surrounded by camels, and hoping that my device ships to my home in the UK from Nokia UK.
Had a chance to cop a feel of the wee beastie in the Nokia store at Heathrow earlier. Having not had any sleep, I wasn't on full geek form, but my impression was one of being underwhelmed, it seemed smaller than expected (too much like a phone) and lacked a robust feel.
I'm hoping that these feelings go away when my own one turns up. I trust the code, but still have reservations over the form factor and the compromises that have brought us from the nits to this.
Happy Monday.
fnord.

So when exactly tomorrow are those who pre-ordered from Nokia gonna know whether it's shipped or not? 6? 7? 8? Basically, I want to know when this thread is going to go bananas one way or another

(I've preordered through MPD, so I'm assuming mine won't be coming for another week or so..but knowing that retail devices are out there will certainly be encouraging)

i'd assume anytime after 9 - staff have to get in.... set things in motion, then start from the first pre orders?
So payments may not start going out till well gone 9am?

Hmmm I ordered from Mobilephonesdirect - so i'm assuming mines not coming till next week at the earliest....

thanks, some good advice. Does everyone else agree that if a user is only concerned with web access t-mobile are the way to go?

also T-mobile do a £1 a day max thing with some of there sims, can anyone elaborate on this?

also does anyone know where i can get a t-mobile contract from? the MPD site has dropped all t-mobile deals!
