Can any developers and people interested in UI design take a look at and comment in the thread: Rotation control within apps - how best to present choice to user?, as it is somewhat relevant to CSSU. I think this is something to get sorted (consistent) sooner rather than later.

ok i just got an idea for this hildon-desktop rotatin thing, android ! , have you guys used android before ? it divides the screen into squares where every icon can fit in a square, and a widget can take 4 squares for example, and when rotating every square rotates with rotating whats inside it, a bit like the dr.launch concept . its just an idea, we might not be able to fill up our screens, but we will have portrait mode hildon-desktop, think about it .

I installed the CSSU control panel applet last night and tested it out, previously I was manually updating the .ini file - if I had not noticed someone talking about this on the forums I would never have known about the applet though, I would have thought this would have been part of the CSSU itself...

I have now noticed an odd behaviour when scrolling my homescreens, when I scroll to the next one the background scrolls smoothly however the widgets from the screen I am scrolling to just appear over the current widgets and then the widgets from the screen I scrolled from disappear when I get to a certain scroll point. This only started happening last night after installing the CSSU configuration widgets - I installed the CSSU features configuration and the CSSU transitions tuner apps and tested them both, I did not make any changes to the settings I already had though. Note I did not see any CSSU issues prior to installing these two applications last night, everything worked great prior to them.

Other than this issue the updates have been great - thank you! Great to see this platform still has support and as always the community continues to be fantastic.

Hmmm, this looks like you have the parallalax setting in transition.ini set to less than 1. Try setting it to >=1

I know there's already CSSU features enabler, but I prefer to have my own version which is written in Qt/C++.

Btw, thanks to gionni88, I just uploaded a version 0.0.5 of CSSU Transitions Tuner to repos which now supports portait mode
Small issue D.

In Landscape mode the apply button seems to open the about screen. In portrait it worked fine.

the themes customizer icon size is not working?

Hey, I don't know why and how, but it's working very well for me since several days and even after many reboot. Maybe I'm lucky xD

So I run CSSU 12.5 and TC 0.9-65, and all is working fine.
(TC settings & CSSU settings)
And I installed TC and icon packs after CSSU if that's important to know.

I'm not sure which TC version stopped overwriting the hildon-desktop (I'm on 0.9-72). Do you have more than 4 home screens available (you'll have a scrollbar show up in the Manage Views panel if you do)? If not, you're running the TC hildon-desktop, and not the CSSU one.

I still support the idea of putting the CSSU and these config apps in an over-arching metapackage, but leave the CSSU enabler and the current CSSU meta package as is under the holistic metapackage.

You have too old version of TC which ignores CSSU. That's why the resize-function still works :P Don't upgrade it if you wish to keep it that way.
