I'm really glad to see that even though the N-series is typically "multimedia/entertainment", they have Mail for Exchange for those that want to integrate the new phone thingie into their workflow as I do.

The new blue and grey/black theme is gorgeous.. so much nicer than the black and lime green in the SDK.

The new system tray looks very cluttered, but at least it doesn't take much space. The clock being visible is great... and I really love the large title bar space at the top.

The light glow around the icons on the main Media Player view is especially slick. I hope that gets used a bit more often through the rest of the interface.

I'm sooooooo excited.

But... really, an "s" in capitalization!? What are they thinking!? You'd think they originated the language or something...
Hey not so fast there ... just to differentiate myself, I still spell with a "S" instead of a "Z" in my emails and I didn't hear anybody say anything on it.

My child though says zee and always corrects me when I say Zed. I cant beat that.

Being brought up with Queens english, I had a hard time when I would ask for petrol at gas stations and they would go "What" ?

I agree that the shots look gorgeous. Though, I was pretty sure I saw a stylus nub/well at the lower right corner ... so unless I'm wrong, I wonder why the article author was asking something along the lines of "wish it had one".

Near the headset jack, there's a switch of some sort. Door release?

Aside from the size, and the "only 3 rows" of keyboard, I think the device looks pretty amazing. The screen shots also look pretty gorgeous. I do hope that it has some sort of conversational/threading organization of SMS though (unlike Symbian phones that I've used, which are plain linear by time of arrival, no grouping by sender, no inclusion if your outgoing messages).

Otherwise, looks beautiful :-)

I'm still worried/wondering about the keyboard feel, though.

I believe that's the screen lock, bumped from the top edge by the camera button.

If so, and it's that easy to take the cover off, I have this image of someone waiting for the subway, the train comes rushing in, they hit the button and the cover flies away. For Good.

Its common in other nokia phones. You still have to wedge the cover out while releasing the latch..... It is not as easy as u think.... in fact you will want it to open as easy as you think it does.
