ive got a problem with samsung movies
they keep failing to download at approx 90%
wifi on device keeps disconnecting
about 1.2GB of data downloaded for nothing everytime it fails
so far ive only been able to download 2 movies
the third has just failed me for the second time
tried all of them 3-4 times before i got them
total data downloaded is approx 10 GB
considering i pay £17.99 per month for 40 GB id say things are not looking good,
my wifi is 'and has always' been perfect throughout my home
and im leaving the tablet less than an inch from the routers aerial anyway,
so i very much doubt ill ever use real money on samsung movies
(not when pirate bay works everytime!)

I agree that different screen size requires different UI, which may be more efficient f packaged/delivered separately than the pocketable version.
But, it's also been shown that with the current crops of tech, packaging them both together (pocketable + tablet version) can be fairly efficient. ie: one example is that pocketables resolution go around 800x480 - 960x640. tablets are 1024x600-ish, so you can actually share the UI elements/assets.
iPad + iPhone 'universal apps' are quite plenty and they work well without being too bloated.
