You will need to uninstall Titans kernel.
It does NOT effect Maemo.

Also.. any chance you can add a mirror for NITDroid for N900? Getting 23-40 kbps, whereas am on 25mbit connection.

ive got queenbeecon gadgets on my desktop to set stock, ideal and 1ghz clock speeds, will those still work one ive uninstalled titans kernel and reinstalled dj-steves?

Just testing download speed from 1024kB/s net
Speed stayed around 600 for a while, then went up&down, and now is at 330kB/s. It's not too bad.
